Akhlaaq-Tasawwuf

The accused Number 1

Before taking out the flaws of a person, we should first reflect on ourselves. This is a statement that will be unanimously agreed by one and all. Who knows, perhaps the flaw that you are taking out in the next person, may be found to a greater degree in yourself? You are worried about a beautiful beauty spot on the face of the next person without knowing that you have a big black blemish on your own face. Now if you wish, you may call it "a big blemish". But everyone knows what it is.

Unique Relationship

A Muslim should have a unique relationship with Allah Ta'ala. This unique relationship is concretised by living for the pleasure of Allah Ta'ala. He may have love or consideration for others but at no time does he let this cause him to disobey Allah Ta'ala. He always has a unique consideration for Allah Ta'ala. His priority is to please Allah Ta'ala.

"Few good deeds according to the Sunnah is better than many good deeds in Bid'ah."

One does not justify the other

It is quite normal for a person to look for faults in a person who reveals his fault. But is this attitude which we consider normal, normal according to the Shari'ah? Before answering this question, it is good that we take note of a principle:

The most effective way

The most effective way to gain the help of Allah Ta'ala is to abstain from sin and not to disobey Allah Ta'ala. A person who disobeys Allah Ta'ala distances himself from Allah Ta'ala. On the other hand, the one who remains in the obedience of Allah Ta'ala, gets close to Allah Ta'ala.

Maqsud-e-Haqeeqi

When we need something, it is absolutely normal that we should search for it in the place where we can procure it. One does not look for fish in the forest. One fishes it in the sea or in the river. One does not treat one’s broken hand by a blacksmith. There is an appropriate place to do everything.

Effort in vain

Effort requires physical and mental energy along with time to be achieved. Just as our existence is limited, our energy in all its forms, is also limited. In a short time, we can attain a lot by canalising our effort effectively. And in a lot of time, we can attain very little or nothing at all along with suffering serious consequences if our effort is wrongly oriented.

It is easy …

It is easy to perform Hajj every year. It is easy to perform a dozen 'Umrah within few days. It is easy to do a Khatm-e-Qur'an every day. It is easy to read a certain amount of Rak'at every day. But what is difficult and very difficult is to lower the gaze when an attractive person passes in front of you. The gaze can do a lot of damage if we do not know how to keep them under control. Do you know how many homes were broken due to that? How many hearts were broken? How many crimes have occurred due to that?
