Reflection

If you are not allowed to read the Qur’an-e-Kareem so loud that disturbs a person, will you have the right to disturb the sleep of a whole community due to the Haraam practice of "gamate"? The most surprising part is that despite all this, you hope for Barakah in the marriage of your child?

  • What is the meaning of Nikah?

Nikah literally means sexual intercourse. And in common language, it means a contract between two persons - a male and a female - through which they become husband and wife.

Romancing

Romancing before marriage is a principle of Jahiliyyah. It is the conduct of the Kaafir. The anger and curse of Allah Ta’ala falls on that boy and girl who do this and also on their parents who authorise this in their house. The biggest culprits herein are the parents who do not agree to perform the Nikah as soon as both parties have accepted. They delay it for a considerable amount of time before finally fixing a date.

Marrying a girl who is pregnant by another person through Zina

Question:

If the girl is pregnant by another person through Zina, is it permissible for this boy to marry her?

Performing Nikah before giving birth

Question:

A boy and a girl committed adultery and the girl fell pregnant. Can their Nikah be performed or should one wait for the girl to give birth before performing the Nikah? 

Answer: 

Positive and negative

If we expect to find everything positive in a person, then we will never be satisfied with anyone, because more or less everyone has some weakness or shortcoming. But the weakness or the shortcoming of everyone is according to his level. And we must live with people despite their shortcomings. Otherwise, we must isolate ourselves in a house and we must lead our lives in isolation. Finally, we must realise that we also have shortcomings, we are not perfect.

Who can be who 4 U!!!

A man marries a woman. This man has a son from his previous wife. His current wife has a daughter from her previous husband. Can this man’s son marry this woman’s daughter? According to the Shariah, they have the right to marry because they are not biological/full siblings. This means that they do not share the same mother and father. This is also means that this girl should observe pardah in front of this boy.
