Marriage

Sajdah

It is not permissible to bow or make Sajdah in front of anyone besides Allah Ta'ala. Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) said that if this was permissible for anyone besides Allah Ta'ala, then a woman would have been commanded to do it for her husband. In the light of this Hadith, we deduce two points:

1. Firstly, it is only Allah Ta'ala who deserves that we make Sajdah for Him.

The worst person

Whatever takes place between husband and wife is totally Halaal. But it is not permissible to narrate these moments of intimacy to anyone. It is a secret between two intimate persons and it must stay between them. According to a Hadith, a person who tells his friend whatever took place between him and his spouse is described as the most inferior person. He is like a Shaitaan who copulates in public. Thus, this is a secret and it must remain a secret.

Sajdah

It is not permissible to bow or make Sajdah for anyone besides Allah. Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) said that if that would be permissible for anyone besides Allah Ta'ala, then a wife would have been commanded to do it for her husband. In the light of this Hadith, one understands two points. Firstly, it is solely Allah Ta'ala alone who deserves that Sajdah be performed for Him. Secondly, the value that Allah Ta'ala has given a husband in conjugal life. That is, the respect that a wife must have for her husband.

The best wealth

A person who has a tongue that is always occupied in taking the name of Allah Ta'ala, a heart that is filled with gratitude for Allah Ta'ala and a good wife who is Deendaar who helps him to preserve his Deen, has got the best of wealth.

Jealousy

Everyone may somehow feel jealous. And it is uncontrollable. That is why it is not that bad. What is bad is when a person acts or reacts under the influence of jealousy. And this is very bad. It is this type of jealousy that a person is called to combat according to the Shari'ah and this is what is in the control of a person. Something that leads one to wish for the misfortune of the next person must be the worst thing. Jealousy blinds a person so much that he does not see anything good in the person whom he is jealous of.

A good wife

A good wife is a wife who keeps her honour and preserves her chastity. She does not waste the belongings of her husband. She behaves in such a way that she attracts her husband. Nowadays, the tendency is to dress up elegantly merely for people and this gives a very bad impression.

A good husband

A good husband is a husband who is kind to his wife. He treats her well and he fulfills her rights in a dignified and noble way. He neither insults her nor does he hurt her feelings. This does not mean that he tolerates her when she does not practice Deen. Such a kindness that causes a person to neglect his duty and responsibility towards his Rabb is blameworthy and detestable in the eyes of Allah Ta'ala. In doing such, instead of becoming a good husband, the person becomes an accomplice or a husband whom is led by his wife.
