Aqeedah

Our Nabi (Sallallaahu A'laihi Wasallam)

Our Nabi Hazrat Muhammad (Sallallaahu A'laihi Wasallam) is the last Nabi. There is no one who will get Nubuwwah (prophecy) after him. Anyone who claims to be a Nabi after our Nabi (Sallallaahu A'laihi Wasallam) is a liar. Anyone who accepts someone as Nabi after our Nabi (Sallallaahu A'laihi Wasallam) leaves the fold of Islam. He is not a Muslim, however much he may seem to be good and kind.

Al-Muqeet

Al-Muqeet is derived from the word Qut which refers to a food that is transformed into energy to give the body courage and strength. Allah Ta'ala is Al-Muqeet because it is He Himself who is the basis of this exercise and development. It is He Himself who makes the foods produce physical and mental energy. He is the one who gives spiritual energy. All progress in the physical, spiritual, scientific and technological fields depend on this energy whose source is solely in the hands of Allah Ta'ala.

Al-Hafeez

Hafeez is derived from Hifz which means protection. So, Al-Hafeez means the Protector. There is nothing in existence which can grant protection forever and in all situations because that requires a knowledge that covers and encompasses every atom that exists along with requiring an absolute capacity. No one possesses that. So, it is the knowledge of only Allah Ta'ala alone that encompasses everything. There is nothing that escapes His knowledge. And it is only Allah Ta'ala Alone who has the ability over all things.

Al-Kabeer

Al-Kabeer means great, excellent and renowned. Allah Ta'ala is Al-Kabeer because He is excellent and great in all aspects and respects. He is eternal. The fact that He is eternal shows that He is neither influenced nor affected by the environment or anything else. He is beyond everything and He has control over everything. Nothing exists without Him. He is the only one who existed since always and will exist eternally. He is excellent in power, honour and dignity. He is beyond anything which may be blameworthy or attributed to deficiency.

Al-Kabeer

Kabeer means great. Allah Ta'ala is called Al-Kabeer because all greatness belongs to Him. There is nothing which is greater than Allah Ta'ala. He is the greatest. This is said merely to get an idea. Otherwise, there is nothing comparable to Allah Ta'ala. He is incomparable and He is great in all aspects. He is eternal. Everything besides Him will perish. That means initially nothing existed. Allah Ta'ala has granted existence to everything. Besides Allah Ta'ala, everything can cease to exist.

Al-'Aliyy

Al-'Aliyy is a name which is derived from "Ulu" which means height, greatness and supremacy. Allah Ta'ala is called Al-'Aliyy because true greatness belongs to Him alone. It is Allah Ta'ala Himself who is the most Exalted and the Supreme. He is incomparable because there is neither something like Him nor resembling Him. Allah Ta'ala is noble and He loves and appreciates nobility.

Ash-Shakur

Shakur is derived from Shukr which means to be grateful. When this is attributed to Allah Ta'ala, then it means appreciation. Allah Ta'ala is Ash-Shakur because He appreciates whatever good His servant does. He grants great rewards for actions that may seem very simple and easy. He gives 10 to 700 rewards for every rupee which is spent in His path. According to a Hadith reported by Hazrat Abu Hurairah (Radiyallahu Anhu), Allah Ta'ala rewards 2 million folds for a good deed.
